The Dress Rehearsal, founded by Veronica Dress, is a sexuality education, training, and coaching practice for adults that serves as a sweet exhale in a world of “fake-it-til-you-make-it” and “everyone-knows-what-they’re-doing-but-me.” With a certified sexuality educator and coach as your trusted companion, you get to be curious, imperfect, learn, and try out new ways of thinking and being in your sexuality and relationships — free from society's shame-ridden messages and “shoulds.”

VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON SERVICES

Description: Coaching sessions are where you and Veronica dig into the “how” of your goals. You might know what you want to cultivate or uproot in your sexual and/or intimate life, but find yourself stuck in how to make those goals a reality.
Coaching is a one hour talk-based service, guided by your goals, that gets clear on how to get where you want to go in ways that feel authentically, sustainably, confidently you. The “how” is Veronica’s specialty as your creative intimacy co-conspirator and sexpert. You'll leave sessions with new tools, activities, approaches, and resources to support you in between sessions.

Individual: $115 per 1 hour session.
Partners: $150 per 1 hour session.

Description: Nothing quite repels sexual shame like the power of sex-positive community. That's why the Dress Rehearsal offers a variety of topic specific groups throughout the year.
Whether you want to explore sexuality after surviving purity culture in Not Your Crumpled Flower, build anxiety coping skills and craft your unique dating approach in Dating While Anxious, or explore embodied sensuality through the arts in Full-Bodied, the Dress Rehearsal's groups are all queer-centered spaces where you don't have to go at it alone.

Not Your Crumpled Flower (8 week virtual series): $400.
Dating While Anxious (8 week virtual series): $80/session with insurance accepted.
Full-Bodied (12 week in-person series): $425.

Description: Are you a therapist, counselor, or wellness professional in need of a specialty consult? You've come to the right place! You are so not alone if you feel overwhelm when these topics arise. The Dress Rehearsal offers consultations to support you as you support your clients in the wide umbrella of sexuality, intimacy, and sexual identities.

Price: $175 per consultation hour.

Description: Part choreographer, part advocate for actors, and part liaison between actors and production for scenes that involve nudity / hyper-exposed work, simulated sex acts, and/or intimate physical contact. Trained through Intimacy Directors & Coordinators, The Dress Rehearsal creates a consent-forward space where rich, grounded physical stories can be told.
The Dress Rehearsal offers connected choreography for sexual or otherwise intimate scenes between actors; support in creating a rehearsal space rooted in consent, agency, comfort, boundaries, and trust; resources and practices for actors as they navigate particularly intense scenes or roles.
Access: Available in-person in North Carolina and the South Eastern United States.

Veronica Dress is the heart and curls behind The Dress Rehearsal. Certified sexuality educator, intimacy coach, and theater-kid turned intimacy director, she is a sucker for the experimentation + authenticity of a rehearsal space — and she brings that energy wherever she goes (without bursting into song, promise). With over a decade in the field of sexuality education, Veronica is passionate about creating spaces for individuals, partners, and professionals alike to explore topics of gender and sexuality with curiosity and self-compassion.
Rooted in trauma-informed + queer-centered approaches, Veronica brings play, creativity, and care to the work of sex education and coaching. As someone who grew up anxious and shamed about sexuality, Veronica has crafted a career out of building joyful, deeply un-intimidating, and affirming spaces that believe there are as many ways to have a sexuality as there are people.
