Plume Health began with humble roots. Dr. Jerrica Kirkley (she/her) and Dr. Matthew Wetschler (he/him) shared a dream that technology could fundamentally transform healthcare for one of the country’s most vulnerable groups of patients: the transgender community. With Dr. Jerrica’s lived experience as a trans woman and their combined experience as doctors, they founded Plume Health in 2019 to provide gender-affirming care from experts in transgender health.
Appointments are available in days, not months, ensuring affirming care is accessible right from a patient’s phone. Plume offers support, an exclusive community, and wellness resources, making trans-centered care available with or without insurance. Since its founding, Plume Health stands out as a trusted leader in transgender healthcare, empowering every trans person to shape their own journey.
