Breaking Open LLC, founded by C.B. Souther, is a suite of coaching and spiritual services designed to help you navigate career transitions, clarify life purpose, and deepen your spiritual journey.
C.B. Souther is an independent rabbi, certified professional coach, and ritual officiant who supports people of all backgrounds—Jewish and not—through coaching, spiritual direction, and lifecycle ceremonies. Whether you're looking for long-term coaching to overcome challenges, stand-alone spiritual direction to explore what’s next for your soul, or a personalized ceremony to mark a significant life event, C.B. offers thoughtful guidance with accessibility and inclusion at its core.
VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON SERVICES

Description: Career & Life Coaching is partnering with clients in a thoughtful, honest and creative process that inspires them to fully live their own unique life. Coaching is a six-month commitment, with meetings every other week.
Access: Virtual.
Price: $2,000.

Description: Spiritual Direction begins with sacred listening, holding space for your thoughts and feelings to arise and be witnessed. Next, we turn towards your trusted sources of wisdom to offer guidance as you navigate the path toward your most spiritually healthy self. Spiritual Direction sessions can either be stand-alone sessions, or part of a series, meeting roughly once a month.
Access: Virtual.
Price: Three price levels available:
$72/hour or $300 for series of 5
$90/hour or $400 for series of 5
$100/hour or $450 for series of 5

Description: Couples Coaching is an opportunity for couples to work together to mindfully create a fulfilling relationship. It is a space where you will each be asked questions and have the chance to not only be heard, but also to listen.
Access: Virtual.
Price: $180/session as needed (suggested monthly).

Description: One-on-One Jewish Learning is a weekly or bi-weekly opportunity to dive into an area of Jewish content. We can either set a particular course (i.e. rituals, seasonality, life cycle, Torah study, etc...) or let the moment guide us from session to session (similar to Spiritual Direction).
Access: Virtual.
Price: $80/hour or $300 for 4 at a time.

Description: I can make you married! I can also help you welcome a new family member, or celebrate a significant milestone, or even help you bury and grieve the loss of a loved one.
Access: Virtual or in-person.
