Samuel Avery Giardina is a photographer and designer from Berlin, Connecticut, and the founder of Sam Avery Media. As a creative trans artist, Samuel is dedicated to raising awareness for the transgender community through his art. He began his photography journey in 2020, the same year he started his transition, and has since developed a passion for telling trans stories through his work.
His self-portraits document his personal journey, serving as both a reflection and a tool for advocacy, while his editorial photography captures the experiences of other trans individuals. Through Sam Avery Media, Samuel also brings his designs to life on accessories like trucker hats, stickers, and apparel—offering new ways for people to carry and share messages of visibility and pride. His ultimate goal is to celebrate the trans community, foster connection, and help change the world through art.
