Einar Escoto, the Founder of Mindsei, offers a unique approach to spiritual growth and personal development through intuitive coaching, hypnotherapy, and reiki practices. Einar embarked on this journey following a profound spiritual awakening that reshaped his professional trajectory, leading him from teaching, slam poetry and working for Tony Robbins to a mentorship with a psychic medium. This shift not only changed Einar's life but established the foundation of Mindsei, creating a unique service that empowers clients to connect with their soul's journey across lifetimes, embracing personal growth and spiritual evolution.

During our interview with Einar, he dove deep into his professional journey, sharing how a visit to a psychic medium led to the creation of Mindsei. Einar's story is a compelling testament to the impact of embracing one's spiritual path and the profound influence it can have on both professional growth and personal fulfillment. Einar discussed the challenges he faced in recognizing his own value and how focusing on self-care was transformative for both himself and Mindsei. Einar also shared how his identity as a queer and transgender individual enriches his business, fostering a safe and inclusive space for clients. Let’s jump right in!

Can you walk us through your professional journey and how you got to where you are today?

After receiving my Masters degree in Women's Studies (and teaching + being a slam poet in recovery), I worked directly for Tony Robbins for nearly three years. Then one day, my eldest sister told me about a psychic medium she went to see and recommended that I go see her. I've always been spiritually inclined and had many spiritual experiences as a child so I decided to go. That changed everything for me. Including the trajectory of my professional journey.

When I saw the psychic medium I was blown away. I began experiencing my own spiritual awakening. Then that same psychic medium randomly emailed me two years later and said that I showed up in her meditation and that I’m a part of her Soul family. A Soul family is made up of people, or Souls, that we travel with across different lifetimes. For example, if you’ve ever met someone and thought, “it feels like I’ve always known this person,” or if there’s someone in your life who you just click with, they may be a part of your Soul family.

That psychic medium became my mentor. I trained with her and used my psychic abilities to rebrand as an intuitive coach. My psychic mentor then had me train with her mentor for mediumship. From there, everything I have accomplished in my professional journey and with my business was channeled by my spiritual team. I had never done hypnotherapy before but I received the download to become a hypnotherapist. So, I signed up for school and became a clinical hypnotherapist. I had never received reiki before but received a download to become a reiki practitioner. My first EVER reiki session was held by my teacher and classmates (and it was AMAZING).

“I'm here because whenever I get the call to help others, I answer it with full trust and faith. Now, I get to experience magic every day with my coaching clients!”

What inspired you to offer the services you provide?

I believe each person's Soul is connected to all of their lifetimes: past, present, and future. So my inspiration comes from a deep, full surrender to my Soul path, which is the journey of growth and evolution that my Soul has gone through across various lifetimes. This journey has taught me that we are on a continuous path of evolution, where our Soul experiences and learns across different planes and dimensions, which has profoundly shaped my approach to the services I offer. As part of my coaching, my client and I will travel into the future and visit a future version of themself to get clear answers.

In embracing my own spiritual journey and recognizing the existence of Soul families, I have been deeply moved by the fact that we are all interconnected, supporting each other’s growth through bonds that transcend a single lifetime. This understanding has deepened my commitment to aiding others in their personal and spiritual development. It's a great honor to guide people in tapping into their subconscious, connecting with their future selves for clarity, and embracing the lessons of their Soul's journey.

@mindsei I hear this statement often: “I want to trust myself (again).” Sometimes it’s an information issue but most times, I’d say it’s an integration issue. We KNOW we want to trust ourselves; we might even remember a time when we did. When we get triggered by moments of loss, grief, and/or change, it can sometimes feel like we are so far from ourselves and who we KNOW we are. If you allow your inner child to communicate with you what THEY need to trust (again), you’ll find it easier to find your way back home to yourself. My inner child loves the Rubik’s cube 🥰 Before I film these videos, I ask my inner children what we should discuss. I work WITH them and I am always in awe with the creativity and thoughts that come out when I allow myself to play. For 2024, I wish you more FUN. More play. More laughter. More joy ❤️ #innerchild #innerchildhealing #rubikscube #mindsei #intuitivecoach #spiritualhealing #ftm ♬ original sound - mindsei

What is one of the biggest challenges you have faced in your journey as a service provider, and what did you do to overcome this?

One of my biggest challenges (and I think one that will resonate with a lot of folks) was believing that what I could offer was "enough." "Enough" to make an impact, "enough" to add value, "enough" to be seen in a completely new industry, "enough" to justify my price point. I believe that businesses are a mirror of the business owners. How well the business succeeds, the value it brings, etc. is an exact reflection of what is internally going on inside for the owners and leaders. I addressed this challenge by looking within. Bearing witness to an upbringing by two immigrants where a scarcity mindset was inherited.

“Holding space for myself as a trans man, the literal death and rebirth of myself, the intentional merging of my duality of masculine and feminine, and the continued work I had left to believe who I am is not inherently wrong, but perfectly right. I stopped focusing on my business and focused on myself first. The business, then, became a by-product of my inner success. As I grew, so did my business.”

If you could give one piece of advice to future LGBTQ+ service providers within your field, what would it be?

Don't let your business of helping others be used as an excuse to not help yourself, first. Reflecting on my journey, focusing on myself first has been a multifaceted process. My gender transition was a monumental step in honoring my truth, a testament to the importance of self-acknowledgement and acceptance. This journey of self-care has extended into everyday actions and decisions. For example, making sure I have alone time to recharge. By setting these personal boundaries, I've learned the value of acknowledging my own needs and openly communicating them in my personal relationships. These actions, though they may appear small, have been transformative. They have allowed me to maintain my authenticity and integrity, ensuring I can bring my whole self to my work and those I serve. These experiences underscore the profound impact self-care has on our ability to contribute positively to the lives of others.

How does being openly queer and trans inspire or impact your business?

Being queer and transgender means I have the experience of radically declaring to the world: this is me. Because I understand the courage required to live an authentic and meaningful life, it allows me to relate to my clients and hold a space that feels safe and non-judging.

What brands or services by LGBTQ+ founders are your go-to's and why?

One of my go-to’s is Passion Planner. As the executive coach to the Founder and CEO, Angel Trinidad, I've been able to witness the ongoing value and impact that Passion Planner brings to its users, especially the queer and neurodivergent community.

Who is your favorite LGBTQ+ celebrity and why?

One of my favorite LGBTQ+ celebrities is musical artist Raveena. Her music, voice, and the way she integrates her spirituality and authenticity in her work is so beautiful.

Share one fun or unusual fact about yourself.

My fastest Rubik's Cube solve time is 37 seconds.
