Orange Moon Coaching provides individuals with tools for self-reflection, self-discovery, and self-identification through individual and group training sessions. At Orange Moon Coaching, they believe you are not meant to fit into someone else’s path or follow the one set for you—instead, they help you uncover and define your own.
Working with lead coach and founder Stephane Duret, you’ll gain the support and clarity to chart your career and life trajectory in your own unique way. Stephane brings a rare blend of empathy, theatrical experience, and inclusive leadership to his coaching, helping people connect more deeply with themselves and others. He’s known for creating inclusive spaces—on stage, in classrooms, and in the workplace—using his background in theater to foster authentic connection and self-awareness.

Description: Whether through performance or motivational life coaching, Stephane loves to acknowledge and accept where his clients are with appreciation and curiosity. Then, using exercises and activities he’s developed as a working actor and as a performing arts educator in disability classrooms, Stephane likes to focus on the human experience, to regulate the physiological body, then use the client’s intrinsic intuition to either deliver a powerful presentation or figure out the next move in their life’s journey.

Description: Whether a small group of teaching artists looking for inclusive practices in their arts classrooms or C-suite executives of a corporation looking to improve workplace culture and conflict resolution, Stephane runs his workshops keeping the human at the forefront of the mind. He uses sensory regulating activities to model empathy and group exercises that boost communication and adopt creative problem-solving into a practice.

Description: Stephane is a Black LGBTQIA+ man born of Haitian-American parents (first generation on his father’s side, second generation on his mother’s).
As a motivational coach, Educator, Founder and Executive Director of a NYC non-profit organization (that offers arts programming for the disabled community), and a trained Broadway performer who is married to a man and the adoptive father of a sweet baby girl, Stephane can speak from many marginalized perspectives and finds joy in doing it with entertaining optimism.
Anything from inclusive practices with neuro-distinct children, in school and at home, to surviving homophobia and building businesses and a home as a marginalized individual are just a few of the topics that he can address at your next convention, conference, or special event.

Stephane Duret is a performer, educator, and motivational life coach originally from Miami, FL, with roots in Haiti. He was last seen on Broadway in the Tony Award–winning musical Kinky Boots and is the Founder and Executive Director of Kaiser’s Room, a New York City–based nonprofit offering arts programming to individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
Since college, Stephane has combined his passion for performance with a commitment to inclusion, working with young people with disabilities and advocating for more accessible spaces in the arts. Inspired by one student in particular, Kaiser, Stephane has continued to “create the space” for others to be seen and valued. Today, he is recognized as a leader in inclusive practices across the performing arts, education, and workplace settings.
Stephane lives in Bloomfield, NJ, with his husband Max, their dog Cooper, and their daughter Esmé Sofia.
