Trans Affirm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting transgender and gender-diverse individuals across Idaho, with a special focus on rural communities. Founded by Arya Shae, a trans man and autistic advocate, Trans Affirm reflects his deep commitment to equitable healthcare and resource access. Arya holds a bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology and Development, along with a certificate in Psychology Data Literacy. His lived experience navigating rural healthcare systems informs his passion for advocacy in LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, and community organizing.
