Rowan Shade Creative's mission is to help community change-makers bring people together to turn their vision into action through thoughtful design and illustration. Owner and designer Ro Stastny works with businesses that put purpose and community first, from impact-driven nonprofits to musicians and art venues, to sports teams and beyond.
Ro offers a range of services including illustration, brand design, and print + merch, bringing personality, clarity, and heart to every project. Whether it’s a bold poster, a full brand identity, or custom merch for your next event, she helps purpose-driven clients express who they are and connect with their audience visually.

Ro grew up as an overwhelmingly artsy child in the Chicago area. From drawing and painting to writing to playing piano, her creative pursuits were boundless. She has worked as a creative written and visual storyteller in support of nonprofit organizations and major universities, to elevate their overall communications and brand strategies.
In 2019 Ro relocated to the Pacific Northwest and continues to be captivated and inspired by the surrounding nature in that corner of the States. She believes that thoughtful visual identities and a creative presence can help bring good folks together and build stronger, better communities. Established in 2023, Rowan Shade Creative unites Ro's creativity & drive to make a positive impact through community connection.
